What You'll Do
As a Project Manager, you'll lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while driving schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all phases of construction project(s) from startup through closeout
- Leading project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client communications
- Overseeing budgets, forecasting, change order management, and contract administration
- Driving project schedules and identifying opportunities for cost and schedule improvements
- Prepare and update master schedule
- Manage procurement and subcontractor performance
- Identify and mitigate risk
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships
- Support and mentor Interns, Project Engineers, and Assistant Project Managers
- Promoting and enforcing Millie and Severson's safety culture
What We're Looking For
- 6-10 years of ground-up construction experience with a general contractor
- Tilt-up groundup construction and/or healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated progression through a Project Engineer and/or Assistant Project Manager career path
- Strong tenure with previous employers
- Strong experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and client relationships
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to travel to project sites throughout Southern California and our headquarters in Los Alamitos
